The Hornlift 2000 (the highest point in the ski area) offers spectacular panoramic views of the peaks of the Alpbachtal, the Zillertal and Tux Alps, as well as the Karwendel or Rofan mountains. Children and families will find an ideal practice area for their first turns directly in front of Angerer Alpine Suites and Family Apartments Tirol front door in Reith im Alpbachtal. The children's ski school and a modern ski rental offer efficient tuition and perfect equipment.

Away from the ski slopes, the Alpbachtal offers numerous opportunities to enjoy the wonderful winter landscape and the enchanting nature on cleared and marked trails. Some winter hiking trails are well suited for pushchairs.

Ski touring

Inneralpbach is a true paradise for ski touring. Here you will find very nice tours for beginners and also more difficult routes for example on the highest mountain of the district Kufstein, Großer Galtenberg (2,424 m).

Around 70 km of cross-country ski trails lead through the enchanting landscape of Inneralpbach, Reith im Alpbachtal, Breitenbach, Brandenberg, Kramsach and Münster.

In addition to the ice arena in Kundl, Lake Reintal is a beautiful place for ice skating, depending on the weather conditions and the thickness of the ice.

Tobogganing

In the Alpbachtal region you can find a total of seven toboggan runs, for example to the rustic Faulbaumgartenalm in Inneralpbach. The longest toboggan run in the Alpbachtal valley leads from Reither Kogel over the Panoramaweg to Reith im Alpbachtal. In Münster there is a free toboggan rental at the Hauserwirt (with the Alpbachtal Card). The illuminated toboggan run in Brandenberg is a nice insider tip where you also can get some refreshments.
